After a very busy Saturday, the orchard is now officially closed for the season. We had an awful lot of people come through today and I would like to apologize to those of you who came later in the day only to find very few or no apples at all. As you all know, the last few years have been a challenge to say the least and I"m happy that we had what we did. We knew going into this years ago that it was"nt going to be a walk in the park and the weather plays a huge roll in what we are trying to do. That being said, I'm very positive that next year will be better. You have to stay positive and I usually am, otherwise it"ll get the better of you. But now its time to put the orchard and the bees to bed for the winter which is no small task but its one that I enjoy so with that I just want to thank all of you again who came out this year and we will see you all next fall!

This weekend will be our last one of the season. Seems like we just started to pick a few weeks ago and now its almost over. This weekend we will have Haralson, Snow Sweet and Frostbite. All are very good in their own right and would be good in anything you might want to make. We also will have a good supply of seconds this weekend. The orchard will be open Saturday from 10-2 and Sunday from noon-4 unless we sell out on Saturday. If we do sell out early, I'll be sure and post it here. We have alot of apples right now but if we get busy as we have been this fall, they may not last too long. We will also have cider and honey too. We aren't making as big of a batch of cider so if you want some, then don't wait too long. Fall is here so if your out and about this weekend, stop by for a cup of hot cider and a bag of apples. See you this weekend!!
